I am considering moving to the East Coat, Chapel Saint Leonards.

Can anyone help give idears re companies to get quotes for buildings and contents insurance.

I have been looking into home insurance costs re being close to the see. Even though it hasn't flooded since 1950's and there has been much investment in sea defences of the year I am having difficulty finding companies that would insure the property.

I have looked at axa, co-op,legal and general. They won't homes in chapel saint leonards at all/

Direct Line quote was over 1000.

i reckon the insurance companies are trying to tell you something.

Try a broker in your local area as they will be familiar with companies that will cover your area (Give Swintons the Swerve)

I have tried one local broker.

Only underwriter they could advise was Aviva(norwich union).

Try Zurich or try another local broker or ask the neighboors who they insure with
