I'm looking for a campsite in cornwall but i've found loads & don't know which to go with - can anyone recommend ones they've used??
My boys are 4, 7 and 10 and would like somewhere with a swimming pool, play area & close to a beach. My hubbi would also like somewhere he can fish! I just want somewhere with nice showers/toilets!!
Any recommendations really appreciated!
Thanks

We have stayed at Wooda Farm Holiday Park just on the outskirts of Bude. Its not got a pool but we have found that campsite pools are always small and cramped, Bude has a great public swimming pool with a wave machine and flume. Site has a great play area, tractor rides, woodland walks, and fishing. Toilet blocks were fine, clean and plenty of hot water, kitchen area had a microwave and deep freezer. Outside shower to rinse off wetsuits. Campsite was very clean and friendly. We will be going back, I have friends that go there about 4 times a year. Beaches in Bude are great, particularly for body boarding. Would defo recommend this site and Bude in general.0

Hi
You might like to try the below link. Went last year. Good facilities, pool, beach, eateries and bar.

Budemeadows in Bude is within easy distance of the beach, has an outdoor swimming pool open in summer, the best shower block facilities I have come across, a play area, wouldn't know about fishing, though. There is an indoor play area in Bude for wet days and boat hire in Bude when they can be bothered to open upKeep calm and carry on0

Kids love the look of the wood farm camp site but oh not keen due to lack of fishing lake ...the search continues...any other suggestions greatly appreciated!!0

Wooda does has fishing, if you click on the facilities tab and then fishing it tells you a bit about the lake. It also tells you where there is fishing close by. Don't know what the fishing is like there mind as i an not a fishy person!!0

I would also recommend Wooda - spotlessly clean showers/toilets, grounds are well maintained and there is a fishing lake! There's also a little takeaway place on site (pizzas, fish and chips etc.) as well as the pub/restaurant, plus a little shop for daily papers, bread, milk etc. It really is a lovely site.0
