sportdiscount.com - HELP

Hi everyone,
My girlfriend ordered some pricey running shoes from sportdiscount.com. Anyway, they arrived fast and are fatastic, except she needs the next size up.
We've tried to contact them (via e-mail) and they haven't replied for almost a week. This delay has now taken us outside of the returns/exchange policy. Their is no telephone number on the website.
Does anyone have contact details for them? Or can they recommend how to proceed with it?
Thanks so much,
Paul

It appears they are a dutch company. I am not versed in dutch consumer law I'm afraidOne important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0

Sorry, I got the address wrong, it's actually sportdiscount.com, which I've nowupdated in the original post.
I've found a telephoen number (0870 420 7961) but this isn't theirs any longer. Apparently they were taken over by The Hut Group a while ago, so I'm trying to get in touch with them (0160 633 8197) but so far their's no answer - I've left a message.0 -
Okay, an update for anyone else who has a problem getting in touch with them. I left a telephone message and sent an e-mail to The Hut Group, who own Sport Discount. While both of these messages went unanswered it started a flurry of replies from the SportDiscount.com website.
They won't swap the size 5 for a 5.5, but they'll accept the size 5 back for a refund. Pathetic.
For the record the correct SportDiscount telephone number is:
0844 453 3210 (Mon-Fri: 8am-6pm & Sat 9am-4pm)0 -

Isn't that how all companies operate?
You get the money refunded and order again - but a different size.
The website says you have 21 days to return the item once emailed.
p.s I though the Newcastle owner owned Sports Direct - not The Hut.0 -
It's sportdiscount, not sportdirect or sportsdirect. One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0

The running shoes have gone up by almost £30. So we can't return and reorder, without taking a hit.
However, if they had replied and accepted the return when we requested, we'd have been able to reorder at the original price. If management can't overrule this decision then I'll get a refund and spend even more elsewhere, rather than give them the extra £30.0 -

Yeah, must admit that sites that insist on a returns authoristation code to return items are a pain. Everything should be included with the items for an easy return.
They can't refuse the return though - so you could have still re-ordered.0 -

...including the toilet paper?
...have you missed the bit where the OP dropped into the thread that the price had gone up by almost £30?0 -
If they've got up by £30, then why doesn't she sell them on ebay, starting with the price she paid? It'll save paying return postage...
(free listings this weekend I think)Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0
