Firefox sending me to the States

Hi guys

Dont know why but in the last couple of weeks for some reason firefox seems to think that I am in the US.

Whenever I do a search using the the serach bar at the top it brings up american shopping results and even the google search on the homepage is now US.

Been looking for ages but can't seem to find a way of making it UK again.

Can anyone help?

Google sometimes retains settings when u 'sign in' to Google ; you can change the 'destination' to UK in settings -- Google UK. also at the bottom far right -- Go to Google UK.

I knew it would be something simple. The problem I am having is I cant fingd the flaming settings option anywhere. ( I am being thick I know)

Ok just a quick update. Haven't been able to find anything to automate the process but have decided to do it manually.

Changed homepage to google.co.uk/firefox and got the search and have changed the search engine by installing a UK one from here mycroft.mozdev.org/google-search-plugins.html

I have no idea why it went american on me but never realised just how irrelevent some searches are unless done on a UK engine

It sometimes sends me to Australia. I think it's just trying to broaden our horizons.

It would be nice to have an easy way of getting non-UK results.
