Coventry First Account - Short Term Bonus?

Martin recommends the Coventry First Account to pay a decent interest if you're paying in over £1k per month. On checking the T's and C's it appears that this is a bonus that may apply for the first year only. Does anyone know if this is correct or does the good rate continue on after one year?

Thanks.

The rate is currently 5.6% - unbeatable for large balances AFAIK.

Apparently the rate after the first year is 4.75% AER on the first £10,000 of your balance, 5.35% AER on the next £240,000 and 4.75% on anything above that.
