hi there
i have two websites, and would like one website to automatically go to the other site .
so when when website one's url is entered for example 123.com it will then go to 1234.com
is it just a case of putting some html coding on site one?
many thanks

Just point both hosting registrations at the same page.I'm dreaming of a white Christmas.
But, if the white runs out, I'll drink the red.0 -
Hey,
I assume you mean you have a website and you want another domain to point to it?
Such as 1234.com automatically redirecting to example.com?
You would need to edit the DNS settings in the domain hosting panel -the Internet will have some good guides on this!0 -
I did it, but I forget how ..
I just contacted my hosting company and they told me exactly what to do .. with my other unhosted domain.
It was very very easy0 -
You need to log into the control panel at whatever company it is that you have your domain names with and in there it will have your settings for where your url points to i.e what webpage/space the name links to.
You then use the DNS settings to point the name to the page you want the url to land on.
You can direct as many urls as you like to whatever webpage/space you like.
Many people do this when they own a .co.uk and a .com name, when they have several domain names for different areas/departments of a business, or to cover common misspellings of their website name (if they have one that is commonly misspelled), or if they use abbreviations as well as the full name of their company, or after a change of business name.A waist is a terrible thing to mind.0 -

you can do it with HTML by putting a meta refresh tag in the head of every page on your first site..<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="1;url=http://yourothersite.com">or if you have server access at your host, and can configure the HTTP headers that are sent out, you can add a HTTP 301 redirect..
That's the better option..0
