    I hope we are not going to get too many of these. There is one property forum I know where we get silly contributions about subjects like "What are some types of socks?"

    The rule there seems to be that you take no notice whatever of what anyone else has posted but you simply announce what you think without any reference to anyone else's post.

    So for "What is a stock market" there are lots of posts telling you what one is - which you could find out on Wikipedia if you didn't know already, so I cheekily go on and suggest that it is a place where you can buy wooden appliances with holes to put your legs in so people can throw rotten eggs etc at you and nobody makes the slightest comment on that!

    It is so obviously a valid metaphor for what bankers do to people who entrust them with their money, that it needs no comment.
