    It's not how long it takes to switch, but how long it takes for your nominated supplier to contact SP; 3 weeks is more than adequate, unless you don't instruct a new supplier promptly.

    No, The OP was right. It is still beyond his control how long it takes his chosen energy company to respond.

    SP's rule is quite unreasonable and if the energy companies were properly regulated (which, of course, they are not) such nonsense would not be allowed.

    What is wrong with what I have posted?

    Why are SP unreasonable? They have actually waived the early exit fee that contractually they could charge. The rules they use are common across the industry.

    How would you prefer the terms to be worded regarding rejection of the price increase?
