in Credit cards
I took out a student credit card with Lloyds TSB when I was at university. I am still repaying it and wanted some advice about whether I was able to transfer what I still owe to another card where I can get an interest free period?

It will depend on your credit history.
Are you now in employment with a decent credit score?0 -
I am now in employment in a job with a fixed minimum weekly take home.
As for my credit history I can't say for certain, but would guess at average - poor. I have a student overdraft and credit card. On a couple of occasions I have forgotten to pay the minimum amount, but have never been refused anything because of a credit history check.
Sorry I can't be more precise.0 -
Spend £2 at Experian for a copy of your credit files.
Do NOT be tempted to pay more for their credit score - it will be totally useless to you.0 -
According to my credit report I have 6 credit agreements, all of which have a status of satisfactory, and with no late payments on any of them.0
