A lot of people joined here after getting banned from HPC. They do not allow bull type posters.
Now one of the hardcore bears on there has U turned a bought a house. It's big news for us. Proves we was right.
Same as if I sold my BTL for 50% off. I would expect to take a hammering and many would love it.We love Sarah O Grady0 -
It doesnt prove anything, other than one persons views or personal circumstances have changed.
The thing thats strange about housing bulls and bears is there seems to be a view on here that you have to be one or the other and that is a fixed and permanent position that covers the whole of the UK. In other markets bulls and bears change depending on their view and what new information may be available.0 -
Maybe it's your frantic frothy defence of RB that does it, you know, the guy you don't know and never met?
Just a thought.
Still waiting on your answer. Maybe those that thanked you can answer it? Maybe you are in the same league as sibley and blacklight who post and then cant back up what they claim to know?0 -

In my experience, those that still argue they are correct when faced with cold, hard, irrefutable evidence have been backed into a corner like a scared kitten and can't face the embarrassment of backing down.
It's a valuable rule of negotiation to always leave your opponent some room to retire gracefully from the argument without losing face.
Rather like turning a blind eye when everyone who swore blind the UK housing market would fall off a cliff are currently saying they were right 'in real terms', when actually that's not what they meant at all.0 -

What evidence? Your post is nothing but waffle0 -
I always get a little concerned when you see these uber-bears capitulate.
Remember the change of heart in Capital Economics in August 2007, or that horsey woman from MoneyWeek coming out of STR last Christmas, having watched the market rise 10-15% from it's nadir?
Both preceded market falls.
Very concerning.0 -
