Hi,
So I got a text from orange today saying this:
Now, I had a tip from someone saying a change in terms of my contract would give me valid means to cancel my contract with Orange with immediate effect.
Just wondering if someone could give me some advice on where to go with this.
Thanks
Martin

Now, I've been extremely disappointed with Orange lately. I constanstly get terrible mobile internet speeds, texts not going through to other people hours after I have sent them (same when receiving them too) and lots of times calls to me go straight through to my voice mail despite my phone being turned on.Hi from Orange. We've updated our terms to reflect we're now part of Everything Everywhere. There's no change to your service/pricing. Orange[DOT]co[DOT]uk/update

They are wrong - there are no changes to the terms of your contract.Just wondering if someone could give me some advice on where to go with this.
Basically - nowhere.0 -
You sure? Because they did manage to cancel a contract with 3 around a year ago because of a change in the contract terms...0

Only if the change is of material detriment to you, a change of name is not that.

It happens quite often but your terms and conditions haven't changed - the company changing their name does not impact your contract in any way.0 -
Put it another way - when a woman gets married and changes her name, it doesn't void any contracts she had in her maiden name.
When Cellnet became O2, contracts continued.
When One-2-One bacame T-Mobile, same thing.
You are chasing rainbows, I am afraid.0 -

Is it true that is what Orange customer service has been renamed to?0
