Internet Exploer (Not responding)

Hi guys

I have a little problem and I wondered if anyone out there can help me.

Approx 4-5 days ago my laptop began to freeze up. Certain web pages especially Facebook will freeze and not respond to any attempt to fix or close the window.

This problem sometimes affects Outlook and other programs on my laptop too, and can only be rectified then by shutting down the machine and rebooting.

I am Microsoft Security Essentials, and have run 2 full scans in the past few days. I also use CCleaner but that also gets fouled up - if I ask it to clean the Thumbnail Cache and Taskbar Jump Lists. I have therefore downloaded Iorbit Care package - but that too has not seemed to have found the problem and be able to repair it for me.

The laptop is a Samsung R519 running Windows 7.

I hope someone can help me mend this problem because its driving me nuts!!!!:mad::eek::mad:

Have you run the 'standard' malware scan?

Download, install, update and run a Quick Scan with Malwarebytes' AntiMalware. When complete, choose 'Remove Selected' if there is anything to remove and Reboot your computer.

After restart, open the program again and go to 'Logs'. Double click on the log produced for today and post the contents here.

Next, download and save both the Installer and the executable of HijackThis and use the Quick Start guide to enable you to produce a log for posting here too. You'll need to install(the installer) and run the(.exe as Administrator by right clicking on the downloaded .exe file and choosing 'Run as Administrator once downloaded and saved.)

First bit has been completed and it found an Adware.MyWebSearch which I removed, but when rebooted and tried to open the log - it would not open.

When I try to do a full scan the Malwarebytes stops responding! And the Hijack this - I am not sure what I am supposed to delete/do with the information.

I am feeling very stupid at this moment - tho I usually am capable of sorting problems on the pcs. we have 4.
