ASDA Shopping Survey

Today, I received an email asking me to take part in a Survey for ASDA. The email came from them (or their marketing partner).
I didnt mind taking "upto 15 minutes" of my time to give some feedback and there was a (slim) chance to win £500 in the process.
Well, I spent the first 5 mins thinking about the questions and filling in the forms as they appeared.
Until, one question came up, I gave my answer, and was rewarded with the message "sorry, you dont fit our criteria". At that point the survey ended.
Well, hang on a minute - I spent my time to complete that survey. If they arent happy with the answers I gave then that's OK, but where did my chance to win £500 go?
I know its not the biggest issue troubling society at the moment, but it really pi**es me off when they offer (the chance of) something, you do the work and then they don't honour their part of the deal.
