Extreme Cleaning Services - Groupon

Fair point. Have to say though, I would probably have given him some return business at the correct price if he had actually bothered to turn up at the times arranged.0

Groupon tend to target new fledgeling businesses as it helps raise their profile & build a customer base. One of my customers recently advertised his restaurant with them & he told me that the meals he was having to put out where costing him more than the £6 he was getting back from Groupon (after tax / vat etc...) it was a £15 Groupon deal. He did at least limit it to 1000 offers. He reckons the high volume of sales (all 1000 sold) with probably turn into 80% of customers as some people will have bought vouchers & probably never use them. Groupon however, are now estimated as a 50 million pound business ... nice work.0

groupon do not make ANY company sign up for this if they don't want to. 50% is a big chuck, but if you don't like it... don't do it!! to agree to the deal and not come through is business suicide, and thoroughly unprofessional. like previous posters i have bought many of the vouchers, and returned to businesses and paid full price, simply because of the success i had when i used the voucher. and like other posters i have bought this carpet cleaning voucher and got no where, so a refund will be requested. word of mouth is a very powerful marketing tool, and to be ignored with extreme caution. if i was running extreme cleaning i would be concerned that when i type into google ' carpet cleaning, belfast area' how highly this forum appears in the search results, because it doesn't make good reading.0

I have also been trying to contact these jokers. The telephone number given on the voucher now appears to be disconnected. Ive asked for a refund.0

I've had no joy with them either.0
