Praise for Tesco Ebay shop

I didn't even know until a few days ago when someone had a moan on here that Tesco had an Ebay shop. I had a look at what they were selling and they had a few things that i've been wanting to buy so I ordered a couple of bits.

I bought a dvd boxset that cost me £10 with free postage, the cheapest i'd seen on Amazon etc was £15 but the postage was free. I ordered it yesterday lunchtime and it arrived through the post this morning. So a big thumbs up from me for free next day delivery and being cheaper than anywhere else i'd seen.

The problem is they are squashing the little man cause they have bulk stock. I agree they are cheap but the problem was they are undercutting people to a point of were the little man can't make any profit. But your right its great for the customer free next day postage.

I bought two childrens toys as present from tesco ebay, one arrive squashed as it was completely unprotected, and both toy's boxes had unremovable stickers on which said 'tesco outlet - cannot be taken back to a tesco store'.

Obtained a 50% refund, cant give as gifts.

Surely it is better for them to get rid of redundant stock, even if that means undercutting people? :p

Sadly that's business. I try to shop and buy off the 'little man' and don't mind paying £1 or £2 to support local businesses but when you're looking at £5 - £10 difference for a dvd then i'll go with that every time.

Tesco Outlet have the Complete Carry On Box Set for £44.95, HMV sell it for between £58 and £194.99..... That's a saving of £150 for a dvd :rotfl: Surely any 'Little Man' can beat £194.99

Tbf, as someone who hates spending over the odds, I'm extremely grateful that companies like Tesco bulk-buy and pass on the savings. :) every penny counts!
I'm sure Tesco have jobs for little men though, probably have a height equality quota or something ;)
