I have installed IE 9 and things appear OK and each window seems to load quicker. I have one issue though is there a way I can get the green line at the bottom (in IE 8) which is there while the page loads ?

It seems that Micro$oft removed it for reasons best known to themselves. However, there is an Add-In which will give you the same thing at http://www.xinify.com/
