Calm down dears. Stop getting so excited will you all. Take a chill pill before you post on here. If people carry on smacking each other down, this forum is definitely gonna get binned which would be a shame as I have come across some lovely people on here who keep in touch and swap ms tales with me, and moan and grumble etc etc. Can we all just "Stop, Slow Down, Take A Deep Breath" and have a little think before we post on here!
This!
This forum has been invaluable to me since I started Msing and I'd hate to think that other people would miss out because of pettiness0 -

I think I did once, and they sent a cheque the very next day after I phoned. I'm sure many unscrupulous people *claimed* that money had gone missing when it hadnt :mad:We’ve had to remove your signature. I had £30 go missing once. But they put another £30 in the post, so I did get it in the end.
Glad they pay by BACS now.0 -
Hi, while we are on the subject of tax, I have recorded all my accounts information in detail, do I have to back it up with paper documents? After keeping my paperwork for 6 months I bin it, should I be keeping it?0

Just wondering though Berbastrike, if this is the only work you do, and you aren't looking for anything more, then why should you be entitled to benefits!!
I'm sure you are, because unfortunately that seems to be the nature of our benefits system these days.Half of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £1700 -

For tax returns filed by 31st Jan 2012 deadline you should keep paperwork until 31st Jan 2017 (although you'll normally only get queries about the individual return until 31/01/2013). October filing deadline is irrelevant for records purposes.0 -
can we all please agree to stop talking about tax! it is creating lots of arguments! everyone has had their say but as has been pointed out it is only each persons opinion and actually hmrc will do what they interpret it as. if you are unsure about the way you declare your own tax i would suggest you contact hmrc using details quoted.
we can argue about it till the cows come home but wont change what hmrc will do if they investigate you!:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j0 -
