There are times when I return to Stirling that I feel as if someone has turned off the oxygen supply!0 -

Would never do that shop again. Complete PITA report with the very detailed narrative they wanted. The fee was low enough with RE and the reimbursement so low only a couple of items could be bought within budget. Considering they make a big play of their ethical values it's a pity they don't seem too bothered about the ethics of the poor shopper doing the assignment! The fee and reimbursement would have to rise significantly for me to do one of those shops again :eek:0 -

My OH sometimes teaches people who work for the Pru and he's always wondered why they all live away...he often asks them if they would move there and they always say no.
I quite like Stirling but then I don't live there.0 -

That's how many a MOS came past me conspicuously sweeping as I ate my burger. AND an MOS was going into the loo after every customer came out to have a quick clean. Very funny.
Aside from that, anyone with a psychic bank acc showing crisp photo money?0 -

Sorry, I just double checked and I got paid on 11 August. It just felt like last Monday! But it was showing in my bank account as pending for thurs when I checked the day before.
I was just looking at their payment schedule and it doesn't make much sense when I got my payment and you are expecting yours.0 -
What's with all the Retail Maxim emails today?
I've got 7 in the last hour. One for Bluewater, where I was this morning watching The Smurfs and 6 for areas too far away to consider!
Talking of large and small coffees (as people were above), and totally unrelated to Ms-ing so I can say it was in MacDonalds - I have the coffee loyalty card and when I've had a full card befre, I've been in, ordered a large coffee , handed over the card and paid the 30p to "upgrade" to large.
Tried this the other week, and the MOS said quite emphatically no, I could only have a small. I said don't be ridiculous, every one of those 6 stamps was for a large coffee, and I'm not asking you to give it to me, I'll pay the difference but she still stood her ground.
I asked to see the Manager and he came out and said they didn't usually do it, but "on this occasion" he would, and held out his hand for the money. I gave him a 50p and he said "Oh no, I need the exact 30p, as we can't ring it through the till for change". So I said "So where is the 30p going - in your pocket?????" He mumbled something about "not having a button for upgrading to large coffee" and begrudgingly rang it through as something else and gave me my 20p change.
He then whispered something to the member of staff as he went back into the office and I swear he must have said "Give her a small coffee in a large cup" because when I got to the car to drink it the cup was only half full!
Next time I'm going through the drive-thru because they never even ask for the blimmin' full card!!!We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Think the number I've received has reached double figures now :smug:
