Can I ask probably THE most stupid question ever asked on here....
How do you guys find the last page of this thread. I type mystery shopper in the search box at the top, and then click on forum. It takes me to the first page of the thread and I then go to the last page and work backwards from where I was last. I'm sure there is a simler way......anyone know it?
Once you've found the thread you should see a little button which is a down arrow at the left of the thread name. If you hover over it it says "go to first new post" that will take you to the first new post since you last logged in. So if you log into the forum, read other stuff but not this thread, log out and back in again it will take you to the first new post since you left the second time even though you haven't read this thread. It's a good place to start though!0 -
No visits next week at all. Crumbs! Not good is it?0

Hi I have just done my first mystery shop today. I was lucky and got a phone call asking me to do it.
My first question on the form I have to fill in to send back the first two questons are
Shop Time In
Shop time out
are these the time frames that the assignment was allowed to be completed in?
My second question is I have seen people talk about claiming back expenses such as broadband and mobile phone tariff charges. Could someone please tell me in more detail how to go about this and also link any good sites. I am thinking of upgradding my old phone with no interent access to a better one or gettign a laptop to use.
Thanks0 -

I'll try that. Sounds quicker than what I do (maybe?) LOL0 -

Flower, you need to take off the fees. We can't disclose amounts on here. I know no one knows what shop you did, but still.
Re: the tax stuff, check out the first few posts on this thread. It's all on there.0 -
Er, no fees...please edit your post.
Time you entered the shop, time you left.
Expenses are put against your tax, as you have to register as self-employed and fill in a tax return.0 -
Hi I have just done my first mystery shop today. I was lucky and got a phone call asking me to do it. They had boosted the amount from 12.50 to 40.00!

Wow, look at you on your first go! Congrats on the upgrade. Many workers have to "go through the stages" to get what you have got on your first go. Anyway, in answer to your question - the time in is the time you stepped in store, the time out is (exactly that) the time you stepped out. I sometimes work it from car to car if I'm not too far away, in other cases, its from door to door.0 -
Thanks didnt see the fees rule!
The mystery shop was a phone call so I did not enter a shop and later on in the form I have stated the times of the phone calls and delivery.0 -
all those whove quoted whacks, now need to edit their quotes to remove the fees too
whacks is new at it, some of you should know better :rotfl:0 -
Just while we are on the subject of expenses. Is it ok to off-set some of your mobile tariff as expenses or is it better getting another phone.
I ask this as the amount of data I am using is getting out of hand. According to O2 I am using 2GB a month!0
