I changed mine back to no Paypal to avoid fees. My nearest bank is close by and I pass it often, so it's not like I have to go out of my way to pay a cheque in.

I've just done that too. Thanks for the advice.:)

Haven't done any work for them, but there are definitely card shops on their (not Reacts) Sassie site.

How did you apply to get access to the separate sassie site?

They're currently doing any pizza any size for 7.99 or 9.99 delivered up until Sunday.

I'll have the £7.99 one then please!
  • I had a report queried because I gave 100%. Has this ever happened to anyone?

The thing is that the staff were lovely and helpful and friendly and there wasn't anything that I thought could have been done better except they didn't mention the loyalty card, should I be looking for something to criticise if the service is that good?

I know which shop that Catalyst cover, but are there any specifics to the job? (I need to buy a birthday present and for once, the deadline date is perfect for me). I know you have been speaking of slow payments etc, but I'm looking at this as "money off".

BTW - fees were deducted by paypal from my earlier JKS jobs. I discovered that they had paid me in the same way that the earlier poster mentioned. When I told Barry at JKS, he rectified this straight away, so there are some considerate companies out there.:T

I think sometimes that the proof readers try to justify their worth. If your report was objective, and you stated the facts, then what can they query???!!! If you answered truthfully and honestly (which no doubt you did), then stick to your guns! They go away eventually LOL:rotfl:I presume that this is RE - why is it only RE that query reports?

It's not only RE. I don't intend taking another job from Amber Arch after their queries last time, not to mention the unclear brief.

Too true - the briefs for AA are hands down the worst I have seen - about a page or two of A4 of very vague instructions for what are, sometimes, quite complex scenarious.

ummm, just a question. But had an email about a bank. Those who have this email will understand my question.

Are they allowed to only offer account to 'specific' people?

If so, is that not illegal?
I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!

Not if the brief/product in some way requires it, ie. I remember one well quoted example that it was perfectly acceptable to advertise for a black actor to play Othello due to the nature of the part.

However if the brief/product is open to the general public then they would be on dodgy ground.
