Black Horse/ Welcome

How long do black horse take to deal with a PPI complaint. Had a letter saying they have recieved my complaint and thats it. The 8 weeks runs out in 2 weeks time- so i know they have a couple of weeks left- just wondering if they actually just send this letter and then leave it for you to contact the FSCS.
Also i have a welcome finance loan taken out in Jan 2009- wrote to them but they say to speak to the broker Blue Sky finance- based in Cardiff- also wrote to them at the same time as above but have heard nothing. Not even an letter to say they recieved it. Although i am aware the FSCS are now dealing with welcome loans after 2005- do i approach them direct wit the above claim for welcome/blue sky as i did speak to welcome before my loan began and advised them as self employed the PPI was not needed and they insisted that i had to take it to have the loan???? so would the broker still be held responsible?? Welcome are also taking the money??

Ring FSCS regarding Welcome, they will help you with this. Welcome shouldnt have told you to go for the broker as the FSCS are dealing with mis sell for Welcome for loans taken out after 14th january 2005, you are in this group.

Regards Black Horse, give them the 8 weeks, by that time you should get a letter asking for more time, if they do then give it to them, they have been given more time by the FOS to deal with these claims.

Hopefully you may recieve a letter to say "you win", so just hang on in there.

    Hi there

Did you post your letter to the broker/lender by recorded delivery?
You could otherwise try ringing them to ask if they received your letter - just to be sure.

I would also make contact with the FSCS as well.

Give it a go, make sure you have valid reasons for mis sell and keep us informed.
