Contents Insurance nightmare

Hi,
I made an escape of water claim on my buildings insurance in July 2010 for £7000. Since then I have been unable to get contents insurance when I declare this claim. I was previous with Castle Cover/REGAL but their underwriters are unwilling to offer me insurance. I urgently need to take out cover because I have a single piece of jewellery worth £13,000 and a bicycle that I need protected.
Can anybody recommend somebody I can try? I have tried Confused and several other comparison sites with no success.
