Anyone seen any good offers?0

Game are no longer any good, they have put their bundles up in price.
Blockbuster are doing console plus fifa 2009 for £179 but the best is
the tesco deal as it includes Wii Play with a free remote so you get Wii console, wii sports, wii play, 2 remotes and 1 nunchunk (you can buy another for around £12) all for £179, its a good deal, I just bought one from our local tesco.
I noticed that the game Super Smash Brothers is also in the deal.If you want to be rich, never, ever have kids0 -
I need to get the wii from either Argos or Sainsburys (only way we can afford is buy buying with Nectar points). At the moment Argos are doing £35 when bought with a game (choice includes one that we want), accessories pack and docking station - total about £241. Sainsbury's has no packages.
Is it best to get the wii now, while Argos has stock, or do people think that the offers will get better in the run up to Christmas? We want Wii, play, mario kart and music (Argos total does not include wii play as I think it is cheaper elsewhere and we may part ex some ds games at game for it).0 -
I everyone, I sure hope someone will be able to help me. My Sister-in-law has just announced that she's leaving my brother (3 weeks before Christmas) she has told him that she will be taking the kids (who he absolutely adores and is absolutely devastated) and taking all their toys and Playsation etc etc.
We are now pooling together to buy a Wii so he can give his Children for Christmas, and he will have something in his home for them.
I just dont know what I need to get, so if I give you all the details, can you advise me of whats needed. We have got to the point, we dont care how much it costs, cheaper the better, so we can get them extra games would be better.
I have managed to buy the Wii fit from Comet, but that is all I have got, as I look at all the consoles and I get all confused..
What Im looking for is games to suit a 12 yr old girl and 9 yr old boy and not fogetting their Father of course!!!
So lm looking for attachments for 3 people, something they all can play together inc. leads and everthing thats needed.
Please please l really need your help on this.
Its going to be a difficult time for the little ones, so we just want to brighten things up for them....
Thank you everyone xxxxx0 -
Hi,
Sorry to hear about your brother's circumstances.
First off you will need the console, this one comes with a free copy of Mario and Sonic at the Olympics which is ideal for them.

You will then need an additional Remote and Nunchuck, perhaps two of each if they all wish to play certain games together.

You get Wii sporst included with the console and you say you already have wii fit.I would then recommend Mario Kart Wii which I'm sure they would love

You can buy additional wheels if required for about £8 each.0 -
Thanks, got one from Dixons.
Arrived today. The Wii box has clearly been dropped from a height straight onto it's corner, which is completely smashed in. Inside the box, the inner packaging is also completely smashed in, although the Wii itself shows no external damage.
Nevertheless those scumbags will be getting it back. Apart from the fact that this is a gift & I want one that looks nice, rather than something smashed, I'm not running the gauntlet of wondering just what fault might develop a little while down the line caused by the unit having taken a heavy fall.
It really REALLY p*sses me off that Dixons would send out something like this. The outer box (i.e. the brown cardboard box that the entire parcel was delivered in) was completely undamaged which means that the console was dropped in the Dixons outlet itself but the Scumbags sent it out anyway.
Last time they get my business ever.0 -
Hey, really sorry to hear that your family has found themselves in this difficult situation.
I'd recommend you go into your local 'Game' store to try and pick up this bundle.
http://www.game.co.uk/Wii/Hardware/HardwareBundle/~r337790/Preowned-Wii-Console-with-Rayman-2/?s=wii%20console
Its out of stock online but is a really good deal. Normally a Wii console is £179.99 on its own. This is £159.99 including a game for the kids to play.
My friend has the raving rabbit game and her kids are aged between 4 and 15 and they all love it.
You'll get a nunchuck and a wii remote with the console so you only need to get two more remotes.
http://www.game.co.uk/Wii/Racing/~r334876/Mario-Kart-with-Wii-Remote-and-Steering-Wheel/?s=wii%20remote This bundle, for £69.99, saves you £5 off the RRP and will give you mario kart wii the game, a steering wheel (you don't need three, you can just use the wii remotes on their own). If you do want three steering wheels pick up the Game ones, their cheaper. Included in the bundle above you get a wii remote so now you have two wii remotes.
The Mario Kart game is great for everyone. Adults and children can play it.
Finally you could buy this http://www.game.co.uk/Wii/Party/~r329596/Wii-Play-with-Wii-Remote/?recommended=SEARCH that will give you your third Wii remote for £29.99 and you can Wii Play which has a variety of little games to play on. There are several games on there.
Hope that helps0 -
Saw the nunchunky wotsit in Morrisions for £12.99 IIRC.
