You'll maybe get a reconditioned one for that, but the cheapest new I found recently was an Emachines thing from Laptops Direct for about £160.I'm dreaming of a white Christmas.
But, if the white runs out, I'll drink the red.0 -
They have got some refurbished netbooks (with 12 month warranty) at Argos Outlet on ebay for £128 including postage. (MSI U135 10inch)0

MSI Wind U135DX White £128 delivered.
MSI Wind U135DX Black £128 delivered.
Details here
Older version, but with built in Bluetooth and higher quality webcam: MSI WIND U130 White £132 delivered.0 -
Thanks everyone for the help.
Have had problems with a reconditioned one before that is why it has to be new.
I think I may be able to up the budget to about £160. but I still think it won't be enough for a new netbook.
Does anyone have any info on the samsung n130, it seems a good netbook, only I would like to have some advice on the model.

Don't worry about the 'refurbished' tag. It's not the same as a reconditioned machine. It will be 'as new' with a 12 month warranty and the same return conditions as a 'new' machine.
It would not be recommended on the forum if this were not the case.
Paying £160 may not get you a better 'new' machine. Samsung N130 is an old model(with a single speaker) anyway.
Listen to the good people here.
Use the extra cash and get a better machine(ie longer battery life) on the same website.
The MSI U135DX machines are fine. The only caveat is the 3 cell battery. Bought one with the six cell battery for girlfriend. Plastic cover still on machine.
Just make sure that they deliver it with a Netbook book power adapter and not a laptop power adapter. Bargain at £130.
Note that the first machine in my list comes with a 250GB hard drive.0 -

People have problems with BRAND NEW netbooks as well!0 -
They've got some ex-demo quite nice ones at our local PCWorld/Dixons/Currys outlet store at Merry Hill in Dudley (unless you're from Dudley in which case it's Brierley Hill, local issues, don't ask).
Netbooks aren't usually used for anything too powerful, most people just want them to write stuff so they don't come with great graphics processors etc. which means they're cheap.
£120 should get you an adequate one. Unless you're looking to play Call of Duty!0 -
