Labrador is losing hair

Does anyone know why a two-year old labrador !!!!! might be losing clumps of hair? She now has a bald patch between the rib cage and hind leg.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

I had this with mine this time last year. Rushed her to vet who said it was over grooming and time of year and not to worry. He checked it wasn't sore or inflamed (which might have been mites/fleas).

Same happened those year and I am just ignoring it.

But take yours to the vet for a check.

Has she been treated with a vet prescribed flea treatment regularly?

May be flea allergic dermatitis if not, but personally I would go see the vet rather than posting on here, as alopecia can be a symptom in many an illness.
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

There are many possible causes - you need a vet to determine if it is stress-related, a skin condition or a hormonal imbalance of some kind.
