Stopping Nuisance Text Messages

Can't find this mentioned anywhere so I thought I would share.

Recently I kept getting nuisance messages from an 09** number. Normally I would reply with STOP ALL but when the message comes from an 09** number there is no option to reply.

So, on a completely unrelated matter I happened to be on the PhonePayPlus website, they have a number checker service on the homepage. http://www.phonepayplus.org.uk.

When you check the number it gives you an email address. So I sent an email asking for my number to be removed. Two days later they apologise, remove the number and ask where I got the email from. :rotfl:

No more junk texts!

It happened to me as well that I was getting daily spam messages on my phone. I made a quick research and found a number that has been bothering me for weeks on Tellows 08434102576
but I don't know how can I block it that it doesn't bother me anymore..

I have an android phone and use the call blocker app, works a treat.
