I really think that they have a lot of tickets with prices on and they are thrown into the air each day and whatever lands last is the price charged, as there doesn't seem to be any continuity on anything. I'm lucky that I've now retired and able to monitor the machinations of our food suppliers. Greedy !!!!!!!s easily comes to mind.
Yeah that definately doesn't happen, at least not in the store where I work.
There was a case where individual avocadoes were 45p in the morning, and £1.35 in the afternoon, but we didn't decide that.
They were going through the checkouts at £1.35 because the price changed from head office, so we had to run and print a new label!0 -
We are lucky in Birmingham as we have Greggs Bargain bakery shops (as well as the regular Greggs shops). OK so they sell day old bread and slight bakery rejects but it still tastes good. Much cheaper too.Find out who you are and do that on purpose (thanks to Owain Wyn Jones quoting Dolly Parton)0
