i have just recieved a detailed account of charges relating from 2001 till 2009 of bank charges, the account is now closed, can i claim charges backdating to 2001 or is it only the past 6 years, i.e from 2005 till 2009 when the account was shut down? the charges amount to £4000.

Since the court case found in favour of the banks, the reclaiming issue is now largely dead.
