Recorded BFPO mail has gone missing. Who do I contact please?

Some mail, that was ordered online and sent recorded delivery, has been signed for at the BFPO sorting office but hasn't made it to me. Who do I contact to find out where it is. It has been 7 weeks since it was signed for and I have all the tracking information.

I'm sure you should contact the person/company that you bought it from. It is their responsibility to get it to you or chase up with the courier / royal mail.

Contact the BFPO sorting office- surely they would have a logbook where the unit mail orderly signed for it.

I once got one back via royal mail 9 months after I sent it. It had been forwarded to 3 different bfpo addresses as each time they thought (wrongly initially) the person had moved on. Has someone forwarded it to another place?

I think there is a form to fill in for missing post from BFPO. - someone I know had a missing Boots parcel and had to fill in a form. (Try their website). Our BFPO post has been dreadful since Xmas - lots of items delivered late, some Xmas cards posted in early Dec not arriving till Feb. We are in Cyprus and we heard that someone was caught stealing post at Larnaca airport. The problem is that parcels can usually only be tracked as far as the BFPO sorting office in Ruislip, then they disappear! Most companies just say that it was signed for at the BFPO depot and as far as they are concerned the item has been delivered.
