We stayed at Vilamendhoo (I could see Lily Beach from our island LEJC!) for 2 weeks and to be honest I could have stayed for another two. I did 7 dives, snorkelled every day, saw a whaleshark, Mantas, Turtles, a dolphin on the reef and loads of Morays, octopus etc
.
Just be aware that October is still technically 'wet' season so you may get a couple of days of showers, as it's your honeymoon I am sure you can make your own entertainment
but failing that you might want to take some books or pick an island with a little more on offer.
Very happily married on 10th April 2013

We're going to Athuruga next year for our honeymoon. can't wait!!
Just a note if you find something you like through Kuoni don't book it through them. Go though Travel Designers and they'll get you a better price. I found this out via the Trip Advisor Maldives forums and they saved me £600. When the confirmation came through yesterday the envelope was full of confetti, which I thought was a lovely touch!!0
