Line down side of LCD tv screen?

We have noticed that there is a definite line down the right side of our lcd tv screen and also a much less noticable one on the left. It corresponds with the 4.3 picture size.
Is this normal? It's annoying to see it when watching in widescreen.

I have seen this effect on screens on display in shops, so you are not the only one. You may get more help if you were to quote the make and model number.:doh: Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0
