Best way to book theatre break away

Hey.

Ok so didn't know how to word the title but basically me and hubby want to have a weekend away in London to see Wicked and I am getting bombarded with sites for buying tickets and hotel and flights individually or together and I am so confused!

I was hoping someone could help me and give me some advice on the best way to do this.

Thanks

The best way may be to price up flights or train yourself, then look at budget hotels such as Travelodge, Premier Inn, Holiday Inn (2 for 1 night offer link below says for dates up until June 2011 but is ongoing. Then check sites like ticketmaster for prices. Also check Theatre Monkey for seat reviews to help you choose seats. Wicked reserve the first row each day and only sell on the mroning as day seats at about £27, so if you are prepared to queue from say about 8am on a Saturday for when the box office opens you can probably get these seats.

For all the above you are usually best to book in advance to get the best fares, hotel rates and seats. You have just missed the £10 Travelodge sale which started last Thursday but you may find some sale rooms at higher prices available. Travelodge are opening a new hotel in London bank which would be a central location at the end of Septmeber so may be worth checking rates for then. Wicked is a fab show.
  • Can i hijack the thread a little and ask if anyone knows the best and cheapest place to buy Wicked tickets cause i just can't afford £65 each. Thanks!

Good prices on Last Minute just now for wicked. Have booked tickets with them many times and have had no problems.
