Combi boiler / Thermostatic shower valves

Hi,

I have no idea what my water pressure is but I have an Ideal combi boiler, a cold water tank in the loft and 22mm pipes ... could I expect a thermostatic shower valve system to work well - I have been told I require 3 bars.

Thanks for all comments.

Nick

    Does not compute.
Can your installer not check the pressure for you?

I was going to order the brassware for the fitting - I didn't realise that these concealed shower controls needed so much pressure.

They don't but you seem confused as to what type of system you have or some one very dodgy installed it.

Do you have a hot water tank.

If no then the hot water for the shower comes straight from the boiler and the cold for the shower must come from the mains direct as well, then the pressures will be balanced.

Do you mean a condensing boiler maybe?
If confused post the make and model of the boiler.
