in Credit cards
Hello,
I dont spend much, and therefore I feel like I waste a lot of potential points rewards I could be earning on my credit card.
I am currently signed up to BMI airmiles credit card, however dont spend fast enough to gain any significant amount of points.
Does anyone know of any ways to maximise my credit card expenditure?
(For example, I just read of someone in America who uses Amazon payments to transfer $ to his other accounts from his credit card at no charge... thus getting big rewards from CC.)
Thanks!

I wouldn't spend on things you don't really want just to get a few extra points.0

Hey,
Thanks for the response.
I dont think you read my post...I dont want to spend more. I just want to maximise my credit card but without spending money....the example I gave was that Amazon payments allows you to transfer $1k from your CC to your Bank account free every month, and was wondering if it was possible in the UK to maximise rewards WIHTHOUT buying things... hope that makes sense!
Thanks,

Hi Jay. Try these:
Get a Halifax reward account. Pay 1000 in, take it out again, they'll stick a free 5 in there at the end of the month.
Get a cashback credit card, some good ones give you 1% back on your spend.
If you shop in Tesco, get a Clubcard Plus. you'll get 3 points per pound you spend, which equals 9p in rewards. Got a car? Spend the points on MOT and Service at Halfords Autocentre and get free servicing
Use Quidco In store Cashback. You'll rack up little bits of money without knowing it.0 -
Great suggestions - I have the Halifax Reward account and Credit card already, need to be spending 300 to get the reward though...time to get spending for my free 10 per month :-D0
