Never give up on a prize not received

I've been chasing a dvd which I didn't receive since the 9th February. Email after email with no response, even contacted the ISP but they were no use either. Eventually looked on facebook & found they had a facebook page with a different email contact so messaged him & he got back to me right away, even phoned me & today I received a lovely goody box from harvey nichols containing 4 different perfumes, some Sassoon hair products & Elemis skincare products, far better than the original prize so worth all the effort of chasing up. I also chased up another one via facebook & they say they are either going to send me the original prize, if available, or another equivalent prize. Thank goodness for facebook! & thanks to my lovely MSE & facebook friend Tracey for suggesting I try facebook to contact them :T

i have been waiting about a month for a amazone voucher and it has not arrived i had my email comprmised and had to change all my details but i was able to email them befor this happned anyone help please

Totally agree, facebook or twitter are great for chasing stuff - or even reporting a fault on a comp. I've done that several times - great for their customer services.
I think that a lot of comps are done so far in advance that the people who organize them often leave before comp ends - then the email is a dead end - which is what happened to me for a trip to Holland last year.

Can you believe i'm still waiting for a win from OK magazine from December? It's only a tin of biscuits, but still, it's the principle. I've sent messages, written on facebook walls e.t.c, but no reply.

Last time i checked on facebook, OK mag and the person that deals with comps disabled their walls. I wonder why...

That gives me hope. I have won in January on a blog, some Revlon sponsored competition, never received it. Maybe I will chase the company directly now.
