Hi guys,
I am quite clued up in the world of credit cards, but I would like your opinion on this one.
Right, I was looking recently on Nectar credit card (it's American Express), as you can now spend nectar points on Jet2 flights (which we use a lot) and it seems that it is quite fast way of collecting points by my calculations.
Like they read my mind, I have received a letter "your personal invitation to pile up more Nectar points", just enter this code and we will do all the work (I am wondering whether they already have lot of my details as I am already a member of Nectar scheme).
Cool, HOWEVER, if you apply through nectar site without the code, you get 5000 bonus points if you spend £500 within the next 3 months, but with this letter only if you spend £1000 within the next 3 months.
Which I think is seriously cheeky!!!!!! Do they think we are that stupid?
If I apply, do you think they will add 2 + 2 together due to name and send me T&C under the letter conditions, or the ones online?
Being American Express I have doubt whether I spend £1000 over the next 3 months (I spend just about that over all, not everyone accepts AE)... £500 no problem, but £1000 is a stretch..
