Help with listing using schedule time - re charges

Hi

I have some spare time today so I was going to list alot of items on ebay ready for the next free listings day but using the schedule time function.

When I have completed my first item it is saying it will charge me for using this function.

Is this right but when you dont use the services does it not charge you.

Thanks in advance for your help as I dont want to list alot of items and be charged.

    As long as you use the edit function and manually list the item *before* the scheduled listing function you will not be charged the scheduled listing fee.

    Thank you for that I will continue now.

    I am having a declutter and the amount of stuff just keeps on getting bigger and bigger.

    For the last couple of months we have had a free listing weekend every other weekend, so you may be lucky with this forthcoming weekend.

    Just don't forget to manually edit your scheduled listings as if you forget and upload them you pay the fee.

    Thank you for your help. I dont know if I should list alot of 99p things and list them on Thursday night for 10 days or list more expensive items and hope there is a free listing weekend this weekend.

    Im scheduling a few items today so they list on Saturday as im away for the weekend but do I pay the charge now then get the fees back on Saturday when I edit before it lists ? Please could someone tell me.

    You would only pay the fees if you allow them to go live as a scheduled listing. As long as you edit & upload immediately then there will be no fee.
    I personally wouldn't schedule them to start on Saturday, do it for a week or so down the line, just in case you forget. I do as far in advance as I can.

    If I don't edit my items ive scheduled will I still pay the listing fee if listing starts this Saturday ? I know I will pay the scheduling fee of 6p but just wondered if I will pay the listing fee, does anyone know ?

    It usually says in the T&C's that listings scheduled to go live on the free weekend are free to list. So if you take a quick look through.

    Yes they are, Any item previously scheduled to go live during the promotional period will qualify for the promotion.
