My partner and I are selling our car on Ebay, and were basically keeping an eye on our "competition". We noticed that someone selling a vehicle similar to ours withdrew a bid. We had a look and this person had bid £400,000.00 on a car! I checked to see what else they were bidding on, and there were 17 other cars!!! So I emailed everyone he was bidding on, and warned them. Two of them asked me how to withdraw the bids, so I set them the link to the page. They then came back to me to tell me that the link was not working. So I ended up taking "screencap" type pictures to give them step by step instructions.
I managed to get to about 5 of them in time, but Oh My God what a lot of work.
Why do people do that? What's the point in joining Ebay just to cause trouble and cost people money??

Make sure you add them to your blocked bidders list and maybe name and shame here so that others can do the same.0

I will never sell another car on Ebay, Had a scammer jump in at the last minute and outbid everyone else, then he sent the usual e-mail about him paying me 6 times what the car was worth etc.... Ebay new about the guy over 3 hours before the end of my auction but did not stop him, And you cant get any sense out of Ebay. I have been so frustrted with them. NEVER AGAIN................0
