Anyone else had SSE (Scottish & Southern Electricity) Quidco declined?
Undeterred by my experiences with Npower & Quidco I completed a switch to SSE in April 2011. Once again my £46.40 Quidco didn't track so I lodged a query with Quidco. They asked for details even SSE didn't have but I provided all my account numbers, supply details etc to confirm the switch.
Today I received a "cashback declined" message with the reason "Response from Merchant. Enquiry Unsuccessful - Transaction cannot be traced" with no option to appeal as "Unfortunately, as advised on their page on our site, doesn't accept cashback claims, so we're unable find out why your cashback was declined on this occasion."
All a bit convenient isn't it?
