i have tried twice now and just given up and gone to store to swap for 2 boxes of same kind and filed complaind in hq. they say, yes the offer exist on the phone but to refund money you have to go to shop. in the shop offer doesnt exist for mixed boxes althoug shelf label says ANY 2 for 20, and flag like poster says 2 for 20 active, baby dry,
really upset by tescos attitude, althoug i know it is me taking advantage of their lack of attention to detail but how many times i have not noticed that something didnt scan correctly? tesco didnt mind did they?:mad:0 -
Just got back from Mr Ts and it's still working - size 4 Active Fit and 4+ Baby Dry. CS guy went off to look but came back and put through DTD no questions asked.0

We carefully checked our local Tesco because of this thread - not that we needed to buy nappies, we were just curious! - and there were no signs saying "2 for £20 of ANY Pampers". Our shop had very specific signs for "2 for £20 on Active fit" and "2 for £20 on BabyDry".:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

In my store it had the individual labels where the nappies are, but there was also a stand that had a mixture of all the different nappies with a big sign stating ANY 2 for £20. That's how I got it, wouldn't have got it with just the SEL!!0 -
I managed this again tonight in the smaller local Tesco... No big displays, just the SEL saying 2 for £20... The CS lady did just try and give me the difference until I questioned it and then she told me her manager had told her to just give me the difference... I asked her to call the manager... With a big sigh and a face like a slapped behind she gave me £11... I figured that was close enough...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I went to the Harrow (Station Road) store and bought one of each size 4. CS lady said that I had to buy two of the same thing so I took down number of Head Office and said I would complain. Just got off the phone to HO and I will be sent a voucher for £13 (the price of one of the boxes of nappies), yay! Did have to explain to the guy who called the store to check and was still adamant that the active fit wasn't on offer till I explained that I was looking on the website and it said any two for £20 - told him to input pampers jumbo into search box! He was a bit ditsy but apologetic and I got back more that DTD so all good.
Thanks OP!if i had known then what i know now0 -
Went in to lakeside store today and picked up one of each. Went to CS and got ready for an argument and wanting to speak to manager etc. The lady went down the aisle to check and I pointed out the banner stating 2 for £20 with the Pampers Dry and Active fit on it and I was refunded DTD just like that. There was no arguing or explaining the actual offer or trying to refund me just the difference so I was pretty lucky. However, She did remove the banner which was shown to her but there is still one attached near the Pamper Baby Dry section ; )0

well I DID get into an arguement. They refunded the amount, after lots of toing and froing, but NOT DTD. Had to speak to 3 of the WORST staff members, then rang HO and they are sending difference on a money card.
Was it worth it???0
