Hi all!
I'm hoping to go to Beamish Museum and I've noticed the entry tickets now get you in for a year. Are they transferable? Does anyone have 2 adults and a child tickets they could let me borrow? If I buy my own, would I be able to sell them as I'm not likely to go again?
Any advice greatly recieved!
Thanks!
Em

So you want other people to "lend" you their tickets but if you have to "buy" your own you are willing to "sell" them..... a fine example of what this country has turned into.
As it happens I have exactly the tickets you require...I PAID for them last week and would gladly rip them up in front of you.0 -
Beamish is a brilliant museum. They've done some fantastic work and it's really well run. They do depend on entrance fees to keep it going.
I'm disgusted that people would try and rip them off by "borrowing" tickets to save paying admission fees, or make a profit from selling them. Here I go again on my own....0 -
I'm sorry... I misunderstood the website... I thought it was about helping people to save money.
Thank you for your wonderfully helpful replies.
So Becles are you saying that people who use discount vouchers and don't pay full price are ripping these places off too?0 -
Yes it is a money saving site but not a "THEFT" site!!!!!.0

hi
they offer tickets like this as Crich Tramway Museum, you pay once and get free return entry all year....
BUT on the return entry you have to sign your signature and they check it with the signature you signed to pay for the tickets originally...
so they are not transferable...

The site is about moneysaving yes but you are not allowed to sell/swap/exchange etc. For you to get tickets of someone they have to have your contact details so they can bring/post them, so yeah...not allowed
I just find it a bit cheeky coming here asking someone to give you their tickets. If you had come here and said moneys tight can anyone point me in the direction of cut price tickets people would help, but yeah you asking for their used tickets is taking the biscuit :rotfl::rotfl:0 -

No.
Places issue discount vouchers to increase interest in their attraction and will budget for the reduced income.
They won't have a budget for people fraudulently re-using tickets to gain free entry.
Moneysaving is fine when it's legal, but it's really not on trying to rip off museums. Here I go again on my own....0
