pinecone as stopped sending me surveys

i am very angry with pinecone, i hadn't had a survey for a while so i emailed them about it and this is what they sent back

Periodically we have foundit necessary to refresh the composition of our research panel in order to staycurrent with changes in the general population and to provide clients with thebroadest possible spectrum of consumer opinions. In doing so, on occasion wehave had to discontinue the membership of some of our panelists.

Your household was on thelist for deactivation and subsequently removed from the panel.

Although we are unable toreactivate your membership, we appreciate your past participation and interestin the panel.

after all the years i have been with them, never posting anywhere about them, they couldn't even be bothered to tell me i would no longer be a member.
i really loved doing surveys for them and the vouchers really help my household.

  • I don't get as many surverys as I used to and no trials for over a year. I do wonder if they are sending more to the newer members who earn £3.00 per survey as opposed to the £4.00 that older members get..........

    have u missed any?! theyre cracking down on times now. i used to rake in 2 a week (newer £3 member) but down to 1 every 2 weeks now :( saves me a fortune in m&s tho!

  • I've had 3 in the last week or so, but can often have quite a gap with none. I'm also an older member who gets £4 in LV's.

    I think its something that can happen with any panel if it suits them. Just after Xmas I couldn't sign in to my Consumer Pulse account, which said it was now closed. When I e-mailed them, I got a very similar response to the one you had from Pinecone.

  • I've certainly not missed any and do them as soon as I get email. Perhaps they aren't getting as much business now! Sorry you've been dropped OP. Wouldn't be surprised if it happens to me. Will make the most of it while I still get some. Vouchers come in handy for Christmas. I do keep getting emails asking me to go over to Paypal which I have resisted. Perhaps they prefer Paypal members...

    I've had at least 2 a week for the last few months and I'm on the old plan of £4 a go so it seems unlikely to be a matter of culling the older members. I do get paid through paypal though, maybe that's the deciding factor??

    I generally get 1 or 2 a week and I'm getting £4 a time too.
    Never had a problem with them, only time one set of vouchers didn't arrive I emailed and they replaced them no worries.

    i had the email to change to paypal but i didn't change

    I was with them for a while and about 18 months ago the surveys stopped. I e mailed Karen Scott a couple of weeks ago and got this response:

    [FONT=&quot]"In reviewing your record, it shows that you have not been able to complete several product evaluation studies. Periodically, we remove names from the database of those we have not heard from on regular basis. We tried to contact you prior to removal on 2009."[/FONT]

    I have never failed to complete a study that I had signed up to, I always completed my surveys on time and I did not receive any contact from them, advising of my imminent "removal".
