"That must have been the only dentist in the UK with places available on its list."
No, there are two practices (one of them I use), not far from me which are both accepting new NHS patients.0 -
wow...what an amazing transcription...you would almost think you had secretly recorded the whole event for a TV program....it's hard to see how else your post could be so accurate....unless it wasn't recorded and in that case....what the dentist actually said may have been coloured by what you would like to have heard him say, to make your post more favourable...
there's 3 sides to every story....your side, their side and the right side....No two ways about this one: Anything Free is not a Basic Right..it had to be earned...by someone, somewhere0 -

I know!! :rotfl:
Probably a bit of all of them
But seriously I think I seem to be just unlucky in this area. Living in central-ish london moody people are to be expected a little bit, but I tip-toe out of my house now afraid to speak to anyone! It has become so extreme I'm already looking into immigration policies to move country!lol

That's because it's likely to be fiction.

Just to point out - not sure where in the country you are but both the practices near me have nhs places. One of the hardest of all life lessons is this:
Just because I feel bad doesn’t necessarily mean someone else is doing something wrong.
Just because I feel good doesn’t necessarily mean what I am doing is right.0 -

I think you're being a little cynical here, Oliver. We have quite a few NHS practices locally advertising spare places."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -
Are you sure the dentist didnt also pull your finger nails out at the same time, so that it would make your mouth pain a bit less noticeable?0
