Miller Homes New Build "Eccleshall" house

Hi all

was wondering if anyone here has bought an"Eccleshall" home from Miller and how practical they are space wise?

Will be me and OH

My sister bought a new build last year and only after she moved in did she realise there was nowhere to store the Hoover, iron board etc!

TIA :)

new houses are renowned for lack of space ,,drive up any new estate on a Sunday morning and look inside the garages...not one car in one..
It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.

I think that can be said for many garage owners though, I recently moved from an older house and many of our neighbours had garages that they didn't keep cars in but were used for storage. We had our garage demolished to make the garden larger.

We haven't got an 'Eccleshall' but we have recently moved into a Miller house and we're really pleased with the space we have and there are four of us living here. We have two staircases and both have good sized understairs cupboards so there's ample room for various school bags, shoes and coats, and I have a hoover and a carpet cleaner stored in them too.

I'd be lucky to find a garage on a new estate around here!!! It's one of the only things that stops it from being *perfect* but it's on at a really good price! And the garage is one thing we are willing to compromise on!

    Thanks for your comments x
