Just to let you know, not all Happyland is BOGOF, selected items only. I can't see any mention of it on the ELC website but it's on Mothercare's and definitely on in both stores. HTH

Lesson learned-be careful about returning items without a receipt especially in Boots!

that is rediculous to be honest, surely they have cameras and without a receipt my boots will not issue a gift card they make you exchange there and then, my boots has the till right next to the door so when i am exchanging i walk straight to the till to show them, the only thing i ever exchange is childrens clothes and to pick them up i would have to travel right to the back of the store first.
Thanks for the heads up but this must be a one off surely??? awful on the woman its happened to though!!!

ELC are great for returning things, I took a bubble machine back that my mum bought daughter last year and it had stopped working told them I hadn't had it full 12 months and they let me exchange for something else (at price it was selling at in shop)....I didn't have a receipt but still had box, machine was faded from sun but they tested it and were really helpful I was really impressed glad I took it back would normally just throw away!
