Hello. On April I was in Windsor and I parked my car on Castle car park operating by Parking Control Management UK LTD Slough. I bought a ticket for 3 hours. After when I came back my car was clamped. Valid ticket was sticked to windscreen but it was really hot day and the ticket came off the glass and was upside down on dashboard. I put that proper I always do and it wasn't my fault but guy said he can take off that from my wheel after when I paid 120 pounds! Also he said if i will write to them their will refund me that fine because ticket was valid. So I paid and after when I came back to home I wrote letter and...... Nothing they send me letter and they don't wan't to refund because "not displaying a valid ticket"
I send another letter and after month they still don't answer...
What can I do please help me.
Thanks Mike

Here's a tip for everyone.... instead of putting the sticker on the windscreen or side window invest in a little blob of bluetack, put the bluetack blob on the dashboard at stick the ticket to the bluetack.

Thatway come high wind or strong sunshine it wont come off, never failed me yet :j good oll bluetack.....other varieties are available !

I am sorry to read your story - you really go scammed didn't you, and you really thought they would refund you? This is a private parking company !!!!!!, they don't have an appeals procedure, it's a lie!

The only way forward would be to take the clampers and - most importantly - whoever contracted them there, to Small Claims Court. You must name them both in your claim, and in addition to the clamping removal fee you can include interest at 8%APR and your Court fee/expenses.

This will take you months, maybe a year to resolve. If you have the energy to sue both parties then go for it and get advice from pepipoo as already mentioned:

    http://forums.pepipoo.com/index.php?showforum=30

Your letters will never work. And suing the clampers alone will never get your money back.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Normally I would not contradict CM but I think that this car park is owned and clamped by the same man, and I believe a rather nasty one. There have been previous on pepipoo but I don't know the outcome.
