Hi all,
I have a 19" LCD monitor that takes VGA input. Connecting my laptop to it is a breeze with a VGA cable, and connecting my playstation to it has also been possible with the use of a special cable bough from ebay.
However, it's a pain in the bum having to connect and disconnect these cables back and forth - I was hoping to find a nice simple switcher that I could connect to the "VGA in" on the monitor, that allows 2 VGA inputs, but the best I could find from ebay are these chunky boxes:

Does anyone know of anything more slimline and easy!?
Thanks!

Try these:

Most of those look to be 1PC to 2VGA, which is the wrong way around for what I'm looking for. Also, assuming I do find a Y splitter cable like the ones at the link above that DO fit, then how would my monitor know which to display? There doesn't appear to be a button/switch that allows me to decide which input I want the monitor to receive?0 -
I may just go for the chunky box as it's cheapest. Do they require a separate power supply?! (hopefully not..)
This looks same as mine.

Can be used both ways, ie 2 pcs to 1 monitor or 1pc to 2 monitors.
Cables required (got mine off ebay cheap).
No power supply needed.0
