Scottish announced in a press release that they were raising electricity prices by 10% on average, gas by 19%.
Beware, the variation around that is massive.
We switched because Scottish were relatively cheap in London and are now faced with an electricity rise of 36.8% for primary units, 18.7% for secondary. And on gas an incredible 48.7% on primary, 60.5% on secondary units.

whilst it is an average figure , the information on here is suggesting that SP are front loading the charges with a huge increase for no standing charge tier 1 units.0

I then notified them that I was switching away and was informed that I would have to pay cancellation charges. I pointed out that their email stated that if the new rates were unacceptable we were free to switch WITHOUT penalty. I was told that this was not automatic and needed activating by Customer Services (which they then did). So BEWARE!0
