Should I reduce my available credit?

in Credit cards
I have recently paid off most of my credit cards and consolidated them into a loan with Lloyds. I have one credit card left with a balance of £1757.97. I wanted to apply for a credit card with 0% interest to transfer this debt onto and get it paid off, however, I still have two of my credit card accounts from the debt paid off, these are:
Bank of Scotland - Credit Limit £7,250
Lloyds TSB - Credit Limit £13,350
&
Barclaycard - Credit Limit £2,850 Balance £1,757.97
I have approached BOS to ask them if they can offer me any 0% deals and they have said no, Lloyds will only offer 6 months at 0% with a 3% free. My question is this, should I lower my credit limits on my two unused cards before I try applying for a balance transfer 0% offer? Do they higher credit limits indicate a good credit history or will they be viewed as potential for more debt.
Thanks

Reduce the balance or close the cards.
When you apply for new credit cards, they take into consideration the availability of the credit you already have.
Having access to over £20k in credit cards alone, I would think that you would struggle to get another credit card.
However, this is all based on your own personal circumstances.0
