Morning all
I received £4ish from Amazon today, so that's been sent into the loan overpayment pot. I've already put £200 in there since buying Fred :A I've also paid £2 into my mortgage overpayment pot this morning. The current state of finances, with 6 days until payday are:
Purse - £5
PAD/Spends - £25
Entertainment - £32.55
Groceries - £12.77  (We already need salad and fruit...)
Loan overpayment fund - £1200.16
Handbag fund - £29.18
Mortgage overpayment fund - £49.84
I've managed to overspend on groceries this month and that's without buying a lot of things for the cats. I think that part of that is down to WW treats and the rest is buying things which are healthier for my diet plan but more expensive (we got through at least 2 packs of Warburtons wraps a week which are £1.45 per pack for example, and we're now using a lot of bagged salad which is always in bags too big for just the two of us so we throw it out)
Today I've got a day off, but am heading to work for an hour this morning to tidy some work up which will hopefully stop people calling me about it
I am going to be posting parcels I've sold on FB, visting the place in town that gives you cash for old clothes/linens and then heading to the book festival to see NEIL GAIMAN!!!! One of our friends from up north is in town too so we're having lunch with her as well.
All of which means I have a lot to do and need to get in the shower, make it to work before eight and be out of the office by half nine

Was at work for half seven  so have done an hour and a half of work and am now finished for today :j I'm just about to package up all my Paypal stuff and send it out then meeting friend for coffee.
While in work I got an email about a staff discount scheme which I haven't used for ages. I checked it out and it turned out I had enough points in my account with them for a £10 Amazon voucherI've also done a £1 survey on Valued Opinions this morning and a really dull on on Ipsos last night about toothpaste which netted me 400 points.

I had a really nice day yesterday. Once I got home from work and had been to post all of the parcels for the Facebook crafters, we went into town (myself and Mr Fresian) and enjoyed a wander around Princes Street. We ended up sitting in Princes Street Gardens in front of Edinburgh Castle and having lunch and then went to the Book Festival to see Mr Gaiman. The event was really good but we couldn't really stay to get any books signed which was a shame. Maybe next time
I had Fat Club last night and have lost 2.5lbs in the last fortnight bringing my total weightloss to 24.5lbsI'm not going next week either due to work commitments, so my plan is to try and drop 3.5lbs in the next two weeks to bring me to two stones lost.
I got an email from NPower last night confirming that I'm one of the people who will be blessed with higher gas/electricity prices from October. Bah and indeed humbug. A fun weekend of online comparison of energy prices awaits. Whoop

Today I've had a potentially profitable day...
I sold two small items on Facebook, which I'm really chuffed about. I also found out that if you have a credit balance in your Paypal you don't pay fees when you send someone money, so woo to pennies saved
I popped home at lunchtime to find a new stamp (Facebook buy), this month's craft magazine and a £10 Amazon voucher on the mat, so hurrah for that too
I'm also going to be on call all weekend for work, with at least 8 hours of time and a half overtime guaranteed, plus a small hourly payment for each hour I'm available but not used. It's going to be worth at least £150 after tax to me, and is in addition to other overtime I've done recently. I'm going to be tired, but amn't bothered!
Best dash, off to have a quick dinner then we're going to see Henry Rollins at the Fringe tonight, woo! :j

Morning all
Quick post from me as I'm working in an office further away from home today so have to be on the road by about 7.15am. A good night's sleep would therefore have been helpful instead of me being wide awake from 3.45-4.30am (roughly) I feel like someone has sh@t in my head
I have three parcels to post tonight from Facebook sales which should only cost a couple of pounds, and I've just found out that it's free listing on Ebay all weekend so will probably put the crafty stuff I've been unable to sell on Ebay instead.
Plans for the weekend aren't too exciting as I can't stray too far from the house due to being on call, so I'm going to organise my crafting stuff to sell, hit the shops for food as we're running on crumbs and do some clearing out of junk I don't need. Hopefully the "house arrest" of this weekend will provide me with a cleaner house and more money :rotfl:
Happy Fridays everyone
